About Us

Welcome to the Toy Car Box. We are a small independent toy shop based in Brisbane, Australia. We've been collecting 1:64 scale (Matchbox sized) toy cars since around 2004 and the collection is a mix of all types of vehicles, mostly licensed cars from toy car companies, like Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Majorette, Tomica, Norev, and many more.

In 2020, we started importing cases of cars for the collection and selling the duplicate models on eBay, which then lead to the formation of our eBay store (originally called Evans 1:64 Cars, and then renamed to Toy Car Box). After a good couple of years of running the shop as a hobby, and we decided to setup it up as a proper registered business with the aim of supporting more toy car collectors in Australia and around the world. 

At the moment we are currently an online-only shop, but the eBay store is still active, and keen to continue to expand the range of items for sale. So please, keep an eye on our website as we sign up to some new wholesalers and add more and more items to the shop.
