Returns & Refunds Policy

We do not refund or accept returns for change of mind.

Damaged and Lost Items:

At the Toy Car Shop, we are collectors ourselves and understand the importance of getting items delivered quickly and without any damage. We therefore take great care to make sure items are packaged carefully to protect them during the journey to your home, and we only send items in a box with tracking, to help you monitor its progress. 

However, in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, then we will do what we can to provide assistance to get the matter resolved as quickly as possible:  

- If damaged during transit, then please contact us within 2 business days upon receiving the parcel. We will need photographs of the damaged item and photographs of the condition of the parcel, to enable us to seek compensation from Australia Post. If approved by Australia Post, then we will provide a refund. If we agree to provide a refund, then we will only make a refund to your original payment method. Note: This does not include items which were already listed as being defective or have been found to suffer from bad factory quality control of cheap models (under $25 AUD/car).

- If the parcel becomes lost during transit, then please contact us and we will raise an enquiry through Australia Post. Note: Australia Post will only investigate lost parcels, where 10 or more business days have passed since the expected delivery date, and this includes where there are known delays within the postal system. We will notify you of the status of the Australia Post investigation and the outcome. The time frame to investigate is subject to Australia Post and investigation of international parcels will take longer than domestic parcels. Where Australia Post confirms that the parcel has been classified as being lost, then we will provide a refund. If we agree to provide a refund, then we will only make a refund to your original payment method.
